My paneled work can be an extension of a collection or an abstraction of a single idea. There are works filled with memories of places I've been or have imagined - architecture & cityscapes, Bodega Bay, Naples, waterfalls, celestial universes. A recent panel became a transparent and liquid memory of the Bay of Naples, reminding me of the constant movement and energy emanating from this 3,000 year old city. I imagined Pompeii frozen in time with iridized silver on top of a white base, bringing depth and richness to the jeweled remnants that peek through the ancient ruins covered in ash.
I collaborate with iron artisans to fabricate work for my glass panels.
